Dr. Michael Schwartz is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist with expertise in asthma, COPD, brochiectasis, & other lung diseases.



Special Interests


Dr. Michael Schwartz works in the General Pulmonary Clinic at National Jewish Health. He is the Director of the National Jewish Health Transtracheal Oxygen Program, and, as such, serves to evaluate and manage patients for whom transtracheal oxygen may be a good option for their long term oxygen therapy. Patients with COPD, emphysema, interstitial lung disease, and a variety of other chest disorders may be good candidates for transtracheal oxygen.
