The adult neuropsychology laboratory at National Jewish Health has a number of ongoing projects and research interests.
- Neuropsychological functioning in autoimmune disorders including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) 
- Biological (immunological)  and behavioral (depression, pain, fatigue, etc. ) correlates of cognitive dysfunction in autoimmune disease 
- Neuroimaging and cognition in SLE and APS- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI) 
- White matter abnormalities in autoimmune disorders 
- Cardiopulmonary correlates of cognitive dysfunction in SLE 
- Barriers to exercise treatment in patients with autoimmune disease
