Brian Day, PhD
Vice President of Research
Dr. Day leads the Office of Research Innovation team. His role is to implement the office’s goals, centralize research activities, improve research efficacy and communications while creating new opportunities for research faculty and National Jewish Health to commercialize research assets and promote research fundraising and partnerships.
Elizabeth Redente, PhD
Science Leader
Dr. Redente serves as the Chair of the Research Advisory Committee that is a faculty advocate think tank for the Office of Research Innovation tasked with finding solutions for critical issues affecting research and the research environment at National Jewish Health and work with research stakeholders to enable solutions.
Hong Wei Chu, MD
Research Director
Dr. Chu oversees Office of Research Innovation’s programs and provides policies and procedures, financial resources, and infrastructure needed to support pilot grants, research retreats, seminars, workshops, symposium, and travel awards.
Anthony Gerber, MD, PhD
Grant Program Director
Dr. Gerber oversees the Office of Research Innovation’s grant writing workshop program that is designed to provide critical guidance and feedback for any level research investigator.
James Finigan, MD
Respiratory Institute Director
Dr. Finigan serves as a liaison to the Office of Research Innovation to facilitate interactions with our partner Institutes to establish collaborative research programs to enhance research interactions and enrich the research environment and research opportunities.
LeAnn Donahue
Executive Administrator
