So a question I get regularly is, “Oh, it’s too hot, it’s too windy, it’s too cold, it snowed, it’s hailing. What should I do?”
Well remember that your body doesn’t actually care what the weather is.
Now I’m not recommending that you go out and try to run on a frozen lake, but rather I want you to try and get exercise everyday at a level that you’re breathless.
And this could be indoor, outdoor, in a pool, in a lake.
It could be snowshoeing, it could be cross country skiing, or it could be on a treadmill or an elliptical.
But, whatever you have available to you, come up with several different options so that if the weather doesn’t cooperate and you want to do something outside, you can do it inside and vice versa.
Always have a plan and a backup.
