Dr. Jeremy Hua Joins National Jewish Health as a Pulmonologist Specializing in Environmental & Occupational Health

Jeremy Hua, MD, MPH, recently joined National Jewish Health as a pulmonologist and researcher in the Division of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences. Dr. Hua specializes in treating job-related lung diseases such as silicosis and other pneumoconioses. His work in this area focuses on lung disease in coal miners, workplace silica exposure and deployment-related lung disease in veterans. He sees patients at the National Jewish Health main campus located at Colorado Blvd. and Colfax Ave, and provides health screenings for patients in the Miners Clinic of Colorado.

Dr. Hua completed his fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine, along with occupational and environmental medicine, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and National Jewish Health.  He also was a rotating fellow in the Office of Occupational Medicine and Nursing for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in Washington, D.C. He is board certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Hua has received high-profile research grants and has been the lead author in numerous publications.

Dr. Hua received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in internal medicine.
