Seventh Annual Hoops & Hoopla on April 3 at INVESCO Field at Mile High

Event benefits the Kunsberg School for chronically ill children on the campus of National Jewish Health

The seventh annual Hoops & Hoopla on Saturday, April 3 in the impressive Club Level at INVESCO Field at Mile High combines exciting college basketball semifinal games with support for chronically ill children at Kunsberg School on the campus of National Jewish Health. In addition to watching the two games on a nine-panel video wall, the Jumbotron on the field and 35 TVs, guests at Hoops & Hoopla will enjoy a buffet of stick-to-your-ribs gourmet food, an open bar, an array of silent auction items and a variety of games. Last year, more than $100,000 was raised at Hoops & Hoopla.

Kunsberg School is a unique day school program for kindergarten through eighth-grade students whose chronic illnesses may prohibit their attendance in a normal public school. Students receive individual and structured education programs to assist them in achieving academic and physical excellence, and prepare them to become independent, self reliant and responsible. From three nurses, the 82 students in the school learn specific medical self-care practices, enabling them to monitor and manage their illnesses and to go on to lead productive, meaningful and active lives.
