NBC Nightly News chief health and science correspondent Robert Bazell spent two full days on the National Jewish Health campus in September developing a three-part series on allergies, which ran September 29 through October 1. The segments featured the Kunsberg School , Drs. Dan Atkins and David Fleischer talking about food allergies, and Dr. Andy Liu talking about the hygiene hypothesis and the rise in allergies over the past two decades.
