Lung Injury from Military Deployment

The purpose of this study is to learn more about lung disease found in contractors and U.S. military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan after September 11, 2001. The information collected with be used to learn about respiratory diseases associated with the inhalation of very small particulate matter and other harmful substances during deployment.
Who Can Participate
Patients who have been seen at National Jewish Health for evaluation of respiratory symptoms and have been deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation New Dawn or Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
Age: 18-70 Gender: Any
