Researchers want to know if regular video calls over a smart phone will help adolescents and young adults take prescribed, inhaled corticosteroid medication regularly and reduce asthma symptoms. Researchers also will use a phone application to track when and how often asthma medication is taken by a patient through Bluetooth-enabled feedback created by a sensor on the inhaler.

Who Can Participate

Adolescents ages 14-17 and adults up to age 30 who have physician diagnosed asthma, take an inhaled corticosteroid medication and have no other major medical conditions.
